HOW CAN I JOIN?
If your GPA is 3.5 or higher unweighted, a letter inviting you to apply will be sent out during the beginning of the school year. Fill out the application before the deadline and return all completed applications to the Counseling Center. Inductees will be chosen by a separate committee of teachers. Applications will be judged on the four pillars of NHS: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Inductees will receive a letter of admittance and there will be an induction ceremony in November.
As the first school in central Ohio to host a naturalization ceremony, this Wednesday, our school will again hold the honor of hosting a naturalization ceremony. This means that our school's auditorium will become a legal courtroom and over 100 immigrants will become U.S. citizens. Students will help usher our guests and guide them through voter registration.
