HOW CAN I JOIN?
If your GPA is 3.5 or higher unweighted, a letter inviting you to apply will be sent out during the beginning of the school year. Fill out the application before the deadline and return all completed applications to the Counseling Center. Inductees will be chosen by a separate committee of teachers. Applications will be judged on the four pillars of NHS: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Inductees will receive a letter of admittance and there will be an induction ceremony in November.
This weekend, the NHS, teamed with Club Interact, will help raise money for the hungry here in our community. Together, they will help with a nationwide event called the CROP Walk. The CROP Walk is a mile or 5k walk for which participants donate to local hunger campaigns.
